Help us celebrate Nursing Home Week!
The Drew Nursing Home is celebrating Nursing Home Week in New Brunswick June 6-12 the best ways we can during a pandemic.
We can’t invite you to join your loved ones for cake and refreshments, so we’re making things festive in other ways.
Top of the list is thanking our dedicated staff who have worked so hard – and successfully – to keep everyone safe in the last 15 months.
The Drew is also grateful to our residents, families and friends for your patience during such challenging times.
Some special activities are planned to make the week fun for residents, like preparation of some special meals (including the favourite lobster rolls!), regular visits by an ice cream cart, and reminders of how much they are loved by our staff.
The Drew is also holding a fundraiser for the purchase of a glider that accommodates wheelchairs. The custom-made swing will allow everyone to enjoy a safe and comfortable outdoor space to spend quality time with their family.
And you can help! Donations are being accepted June 6-12 at Rose’s Your Independent Grocer in Sackville, and of course you can always make a donation at drewnursinghome.ca/foundation.
