Flu Prevention

clean_handsInfluenza is steadily making its way toward New Brunswick. It is important that we do all we can to protect ourselves and the Drew residents from exposure to the flu virus. The flowing precautions will go a long way in decreasing the transmission of infection:

  • Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly
  • Cough and sneeze into the bend of your arm, not your hand
  • Avoid unnecessarily touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands
  • Clean and disinfect things and surfaces that a lot of people touch, like doorknobs, keyboards, workstations, etc.
  • Keep a healthy immune system by eating well, being physically active, getting enough sleep, etc.

Thank you for playing a role in preventing and controlling the spread of influenza.
