Cycling Without Age Bicycle
A celebration was held at the Drew on November 6, 2017, for the Launch of the Cycling Without Age vehicle.
This rickshaw/tricycle hybrid, known as a “trishaw” will be used to help our residents get around town. It’s similar to a wheel chair, except that it can hold two passengers, and is powered by a volunteer rider and a small electric motor, which comes in handy on Sackville’s hills.
The trishaw was funded by the Sackville Memorial Hospital Foundation, the Rotary Club of Sackville, the Town of Sackville, and the provincial government, as well as fundraisers at the Drew.
